Question On Installing Brake Module
So right after I installed a new brake master cylinder and bled everything the car (1999 camaro ss) was driving great but after a couple days it felt like my master cylinder was bad. I found out I have huge leak coming from my brake modulator valve. I am buying a used one off ebay since I was quoted a little over $1000 for a new one.
My question is do I need to do anything special? Aside from pulling out all the lines from the old one, installing the new module, putting the lines and abs connection back in the new one and then bleeding the brakes?

A scan tool to bleed the hydraulic control unit out properly in one sitting.
Otherwise....You'll be bleeding it multiple times. You"ll have to drive it (15-25 mph no brake apply)with a low pedal to get the EBCM to do a ABS hydraulic control unit self test. This will cycle air from the dump valves & allow it to be eventually bleed out the wheels.
It might take 2 or more bleeding sessions to get it done though "manually" bleeding it.

Thank you so much. Unfortunately I don't have a scan tool and my work that has one is a decent drive away. So it is possible to manually bleed it but it will just take a couple sessions? What if I don't replace the computer that's in it and just replace the pump? Would I still need to bleed it?

You open a brake line = you'll have to bleed it.
It is possible to manually bleed it, but be prepared it might be a rough go.
Might wanna save yourself some time & invest in a motive power bleeder.
That will make it go quicker.
