I was looking at a set of strange rear shocks but the part number on the shock I can't find anywhere listed. The Part number is 54860.. I searched everywhere, anyone know before I call up strange?

I have never seen that number... sounds like a serial tag number.

What is the application? I am sure I can get you the right info

These are currently on a 00 Z28 with a Moser 9in

yep... that's just a serial number. You may be able to call them with that number and they may be able to tell you what it was originally sold as with valving and mounts. That shock in single adjustable is S5270(149.00), and double adj is S5070(249.00) each. Call me for pricing if you are looking at new ones!
