So the drop is exactly the same as the other BMR springs?

Drop is the same, but rates are different. These are 725/210 instead of the previous 550/160

I just ordered a set tonight. I have the SP001's on now. I love the soft ride but when I push it hard in the corners or brake hard the front dips too much and sometimes I bottom out on my SLP Y-Pipe. I guess these new springs will help me with that. How much harder will my ride be compared to the Sp001's?
Is the ride still somewhat soft like the SP001's?

BMR Sales what would you recommend, the new SP090 725/210 or the previous BMR's 550/160 for a car that is drove daily hard, lots of freeway driving and some 1/8 mile track use. Since they both have same stance which is better for performance overall. I plan on using the Bilstein shocks with this setup. Car is 02 Trans am WS6
Any input is appreciated

The ride will be firmer than the SP001's but they will not be harsh or rough. From what you are describing, I think they will benefit you greatly as they will reduce the brake dip and side transfer in the corners

If you plan on using Bilstein shocks and will be doing some drag strip usage, I would recommend out older spring design over these. The higher rates of these springs do not promote weight transfer that is needed for straight line traction. Also these springs will be too high of rates to use with those shocks, the valving will not be able to properly control them. These are recommended to be used with Koni Sport shocks

Well poop..... I already bought new 70008 - SLP Performance Bilstein Shocks.
Shocks arrived yesterday.

So what does this mean? I don't drag race. Car is driven hard on the street and I just wanted a firmer ride (less suspension travel) When driving on blacktop that is not completely level. At 65 MPH I can bottom out my Y-pipe if I hit low spots on the blacktop.

Will these springs damage my new shocks?

I guess I can send them back to BMR. BUt I really wanted to try them as I already have the SP001's on my car currently.

What shocks do you recommend with the SP090 springs if I can't afford $1000 Koni's?

I hate it when I'm stupid. So I should keep running the BMR SP001's with my new Bilsteins? The SP001's are only 2 years old vs the 15 year old Bilstein shocks . The ride is great with them and I love how level the car is. I just wanted to try a higher rate spring when I install the new Bilsteins.

So I did the "search threads" thing....my head is about to explode.

I will install the NEW #SP090 springs with my NEW SLP Bilstein #70008 shocks!!

I will let you know what happens. I put about 2,000 miles a year on the car.
If my Bilsteins go to crap in 20,000 miles that's ten years. I will get Koni's next time.

Ride height looks pretty good. Mine seem to ride higher than that. I've been looking for something to drop the car a little more without compromising the ride quality too much.

I'm not sure if those Bilstein's will be able to control these rates honestly. I know they work very well paired with our SP001 springs, but I'm not sure how they will perform paired with these springs.

Qcon- come pick up a set of these and see how you like them. You get a cash pickup discount, plus I'd love to see that car in person

BMR Sales2........will you left me return the lowering springs I just bought? SP090? I chickened out and kept my BMR SP001 springs on the car when I installed my new Bilsteins shocks.

I bought them straight through BMR's website.
