Default A few Torque Arm Questions...some pics?

I was looking for some info on torque arms and which would be the best set up. The arms such as the spohn that bolts to where your tunnel brace is. Is this area strong enough to hold the set ups that are being placed on them? I guess I am asking has anyone tore these mounts or experienced a problem with this. It just doesnt seem like a strong area.

Also the BMR trak pak, I assumed you could use thse with any SFC's except a diamond style, but by the way the pics looked of it installed they are welding it where most to all sfcs would bolt/weld. Or do you weld this to your sfcs?

Anyone have pics of there trak pak installed?

Default Spohn Torque arm

I have the Spohn adjustable torque arm. It has only been on my car a couple of weeks, but I really like it. The mounting point doesn't seem to be very strong, but when the rear end torques the pressure is applied upwards on the car. I ordered the cm version with the front driveshaft loop and it is still quite heavy, but I don't think there will be any problem.

Thats good to hear, I never thought about the pressure being pushed upward, that makes sense. I am still slightly concerned about side to side movement. Wonder if there is a chance of it tearing there?
