Default STB rubbing?

i just went to check oil today and noticed my dip stick is rubbing bad on the STB. It took off a layer of paint!!! how do i get around this? Can I bend the pipe thingy so the dipstick is more centered?

My oil dipstick doesn't rub (same Hotchkiss brace)
but my ATF one did; I just wrapped it with a few
turns of friction tape.

You obviously care way too much about engine
compartment appearance.... I haven't ever cleaned
mine.

You have 2 choices ....

Bend the pick up tube to clear or notch the STB.

Which do you think is easier?
