Default what do I need with hotchkis springs

I have been debating which springs to go with and have now decided to go with the hotchkis 1" drop springs, with tokico shocks.

What else do I need to make it ride ride, and work as efficiently as possible? relocation brakcets...what ones, and from where? help me out.

Thats the basic stuff you need, springs and shocks. You will also need an adjustable panhard bar. My rear was 3/8" off after lowering, so I had to center it with the new PHR. Relocation brackets might be needed, mine doesnt need them. Try it out and if your getting wheel-hop then go ahead and order them. I hear the ones from UMI work well and are cheap.

Some people may think differently, that you should get them along with the springs. But why fix it if it ain't broke! I will probably get some anyways sometime soon.

I just did the Hotckis spring set-up (look in the appearence section), and didn't change out my shocks. Since these springs are only supposed to drop it an 1". I have heard and read that some people have had their stock shocks for over a year without any problems.
I do plan on upgrading after awhile though.

U definately need the adjustable pan-hard to center the rear after your spring install.

You might slide by without relocation brakets with just a inch drop. I have the pro-kit and I need them. Just drive it and see how it feels like the others said.

I am about to put a pro kit on mine also. I have heard that you need new shocks, and some people say you don't? What does the pan-hard bar, and relocation brackets do?

An adjustable panhard bar recenters the rear axle under the car. When you lower the car the stock panhard rod will push the rearend to one side. Relocation brakets bolt to the rearend and lower the mounting point of your lower control arms. When you lower your car your lower control arms will be at an upward angle. The relocation brakets will level them back up. You can run your car like this but without the relocation brakets you will get wheelhop bad. Yes you can run on the stock shocks and struts for a while. I still have them on my car. But if I had to do it again I would have replaced them when I installed the springs because I can tell my ride quality is going away.

So should i get the panhard bar and relocation brackets when i get the pro kit? Or can they be put on later? I won't be racing the car, so is this stuff that needs to be on there to race? Thanks.

Relocation bracket's are for reducing wheel hop. And since you said that your are not going to race, then I wouldn't get those. You definately need the adjustable pan-hard bar. When we lower our f-body's, we have to re-center it after installing the lowering springs.

ok...so i don't need to worry about the relocation brackets......so i have been looking for the adjustable panhard bar....i looked on SLP, and all i found was the regular panhard bar, and the OEM one. Is there a good place to get one? Also, where is a good place to get springs from? Thanks again. I'm learning a ton from you guys!
