Springs question...
http://www.angelfire.com/my/fastcar/suspension.html
Does anyone know anything about the Edelbrock coil springs listed second from the bottom in that table? Looking on Edelbrock's website, the only springs they show on the suspension page are Eibachs....are those a different rate than the standard Pro-Kits?

Man, it's tough trying to find a good linear rate front spring (set) in the 1.25" lowering range these days...

It's wacky
Actually, I don't think Edelbrock makes a front spring for 01 F-body's, not sure about other years. They definitely make a rear spring. The only front spring I saw from Edelbrock for an 01 f-body is a coil over spring/shock combo. This set up comes with their performer IAS shocks and is ride height adjustable, from stock to 1 1/2 inch drop. I e-mailed Edelbrock about the front spring rate on this and they didn't know. Just knew it was made by Eibach and that it was linear. Now, if it's the same front spring as the Eibach prokit, that has a spring rate of 400 I think, and when you make it a coil over it increases the spring rate. But to what I have no clue.
Hope that helps.
