Question Bilstein HDs with Hotchkis springs?

How many people have used the regular Bilstein HDs with Hotchkis Springs? Do they work well together?
I've read many posts saying to use Konis or revalved Bilsteins with lowering springs, but I really do not want to spend over $400 for shocks. The car is a daily driver, and I don't do any racing. I don't need all-out performance, just a nice ride with a slightly lower stance.

Sam Strano revalves them for cheaper than SLP. I have the SLP ones and love them with Hotchkis springs. It will be a stiff ride so be ready, but it will also handle like a whole new car.

SLP Bilstein rears = HD Bilstein rears, same P/N.
I found them too harsh and wanted a little more
rake so I ended up putting the rear Bilsteins in the
shed and Gabriel Hi-Jackers out back. Rides a fair
bit smoother, well controlled, cheap. I only use
about 30PSI air in them, ~1/2" up off the Hotchkiss
rear ride height.
