New Brakes are not working!
Ok, today I installed my new rotors and went out to buy some food and got home(6 miles) and looked at the rotors, It looks like the pads are only touching about 1/4 in on the outer side of the rotor, only up front. The pads are like 3 months old and lots of meat on them. What should i do? Thanks

Questions:
* Are the pads the correct pads?
* Is everything tightened properly?
* Did you inspect the sliding pins and make sure they were greased and moving freely?
* Did you inspect all rubber boots to make sure none were torn?
* Did you look at the caliper pistons to see if they were scratched?
* Did you follow the proper bedding/conditioning procedure for the pads and rotors?

O wait....
You replaced the rotors but used the same pads?
Thats your problem.
The pads have worn to the surface of the old rotors.
They won't brake properly until they wear to the new rotor surface.
I'd suggest a good break-in or replacing the pads.
