Buying tires..help...Michelin Sport, Yokohama AVS Sport Or BFG G-Force KD ??? I am about to order a set of tires and looking for any experience you might have with the above three. The sizes I will be getting are:
275/40/17 Front
315/35/17 Rear
I am looking for a good all around street tire that will support a few trips to the drag strip a year (will hook up with 400 RWHP). Don't want to be swapping to rims w/drag radials when I go and want to have the ability to connect for the occasional street race. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> Would appreciate advice based on personal experience... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />

Great wet/dry traction, little or no road noise/ excellent sidewall stiffness/ and great tire weat... I have heard many many good things about the KDs also. I have a set of KDWs on the stang, they hook good but are pretty noisy tires. IMHO the Michelins are a lil overpriced for what you get.
