wheel hop, from LCA bearings?
i'm getting wheelhop, both off the line, and on my 1-2 shift. it started doing it out of the blue one day. i added LCA relo brackets, but didnt solve anything.
car puts down around 360rwhp, and suspension mods are as follows: SFC's, adj. PHB, adj. LCA's, LCA relo brackets, adj. tq arm... all parts are BMR, /w poly mounts where applicable. stock 10-bolt /w pinion angle set to -1. tires are BFG KDW's.
a friend suggested that my LCA bushings/bearings might be binding. i dunno how that would be possible if they are less than 2 years old, and they have grease fittings, which i lube every time i change the oil.

Just a question but have you checked to see if your LCA are level I mean they should be with the Relocation brackets but it may be some thing to check? Also I don't know if this will help But I have my Pinion angle at -2.5 and have the same rear susp mods as you except for spohn brand and I have no wheel hop at all.

well, like i said, it all started out of the blue one day... i just attributed it to the fact that i moved across the country and figured it was just due to the difference in the tracks.
the problem existed before i got the LCA brackets. i thoguth about changing the pinion angle, but its always been -1 before with no issues... and i thoguht i read that over a -1 on a stock rear would cause the rear seal to weep.

i havent measured recently, but they are BFG KDW's and they have almost 18k on them. i dont do burnouts, just spin them a little to get the sand off them.
also, as i said previously, my pinion angle is set to -1. would it be better to try 0 or -2?

I doubt it is you LCA bushings, since you lube them regularly. When you installed the LCAs and PHB, did you align the wheels, left to right and front to back? If so, what hole are the LCAs using in the relocation brackets? That is another adjustment, as well as the pinion angle (you would probably want to start going more negative, 1/2 degree at a time, IIRC).

im havin the same problem just started all the sudden. im gonna recheck my pinion angle and then try new rear shock. im thinkin shocks casue on sharp bumps they dont seem to work.....like the suspension hits the body it sounds horible and hurts.
ill need to figure something out
