where are brembo blanks made and by whom?
I just purchased front brembo blanks. When I opened the boxes i found two very different looking rotors. Both are physically the same size and have the same bolt pattern but the hubs look completely different. One says made in usa and wagner on the inside. the other says made in mexico. The one that says wagner looks like my stock rotors. Does wagner make rotors for brembo? I'm trying to tell if one or both of these are not really brembos.
thanks for any help

I work at an autoparts store and ordered them through our parts warehouse so I already know I can get my money back. I just want to make sure that next time they send the right ones and I know what to look for.

I wouldn't be very surprised if brembos were made by wagner but the second box i opened wasn't even a wagner so i knew something was up. I just looked again and the min thickness specs weren't even the same between the two.

Brembo and Wagner are two different things...
I first installed the Wagners: they are straight when they are cold and warp as soon they get warm! (not hot, not red, just warm...)
1000 miles later I was so pissed that I installed a set of blank Brembos (made in Mexico).
They are perfect!

So the rotors made in Mexico have better metal composition (warping resistance) than the USA rotors?
Does Brembo just ship really good materials to have it cast there(cheaper than casting in a more 'advanced/technologically modern' country)?

sroach20 is right. Brembo has two North American plants building for them.
BPC in Canada and one in Mexico.
It wouldn't surprise me of Brembo sourcing discs from Wagner. For them to save cost. My importer for Chinese discs has told me Brembo are in a world of hurt because the major chinese brake facilities just got the Germany TUV quality rating in order to sell the the EU.
I would get your money back though. Brembo is still brembo.
