Default Qa1/Hal shocks. Are they noisy?

I have had the qa1's installed on the back of the car for 5-6 years now and think they are in need of a rebuild. I have a set of the R's in the front also which are about 2 years old. Anyway ever since i installed them i noticed alot more road noise going over bumps and stuff in the road. The are a nice shock for launching but the road noise is killing me. I heard of 2 other people talking about it and was wondering if others are experiencing more road noise with them. Now when i say bumps im refering to small pot holes/slight uneven road where the suspension doesnt move that much. And yes i tried all different settings, the car just feals a bit slopy and bumps are heard a bit more than when i was stock.

nope, not leaking just making all kinds of noise. what would you run in the backs for a 90% street car 10% strip car and still be able to get good weight transfer?

I have had my QA1s for about 3 years now and I havent had a problem whatsoever (knock on wood). Of course I have only put about 15K miles on it in that time. Also, I never noticed any extra road noise
