Default Adjustable torque arm

My adjustable torque arm is rusted locked. I was going to change the angle and I can't turn the adjuster at all. I loosened the backing nuts, but the main turnbuckle type nut I can't budge at all. I sprayed it with AeroKroil and will let it soak overnight.

I tried unloading it with the floor jack, but it won't move. I can see a little rust on the threads...must have been from washing as the car has never been in the rain.

hmmm id assume they would have made it from a corrosion resistant metal...considering it is under a car

try an electric heat gun and silly-kone spray or liquid wrench ...tap lightly repeat a few times and then apply wrench torque

... thats why when we send out parts the threads are chased and anti-seize is applied to the threads.
good luck. if none of the tricks work then you will have to get it warm enough with a torch and unscrew the adjuster all the way out. then chase the threads and apply anti-seize lube.
