black bracket under middle of car
This is hard to explain, but there is a black bracket that bridges underneath the driveshaft and I-pipe. I had to remove it to get my texas speed y-pipe to fit. I am having siginificant issues with both the driver side and passenger side collectors or cats banging the floor when turning and accelerating.
This brace piece did not appear to be structural, however I am now having second thoughts. Anyone understand what I am asking and have opinions?

Most people remove theirs if it interferes with their new y-pipe. You can get a driveshaft loop to replace it. I've actually been running without one for a few months now without any problems, too lazy to install my lakewood DS loop. Search "tunnel brace" if you want more information.
