Default Solid motor mounts w/ BMR K-member?

I have a BMR k-member and cannot find a set of solid motor mounts to use with them. Is it pissible? Does anyone have a kit? I'd like to tame the engine movement with a large cam.

Brian, as far as i know there are no solid mounts available. You can modify the stock ones.

Thanks.

Has anyone else modified their BMR?

it's impossible..... do a search cause there was a thread that I replied to a few weeks ago about this exact subject....

the driveline angle will not work.... I got the solid mounts in (dvr's side) of an LT1..... but the tranny was crammed in the tunnel to where it wouldn't move or allow me to bolt it in...

  1. Let me clarify, you can weld up the stock clamshell and make it solid. Although we do not recommend doing this. You will feel alot more vibrations through out the car. Prothane urethane mounts are the best alternative. We have cars using these mounts and running high 8 to low 9 second quarter mile times. For an LS1 the prothane number is 7-512 they sell for $59.95 for LT1 its 7-508 $49.95, that includes both sides. If you have any questions give me a call at the office.

i have ran into this problem myself... its pretty dumb if you ask me to to make a k-member with solid mounts then not make the actual mounts. and then on top on that to design it so it won't work with another companies stuff. good going. next time around i'm using the spohn stuff. why wouldn't these work?
