I love my UMI- not familiar with the BMR- anything you do will be an improvment over what GM did- take the torque loads off the back of the tranny, and make it easier to lay down power-
I put mine on with the 3-pt SFC's, but then I like to make sure- "too much is just enough"

Hello, although the price may seem expensive its alot cheaper than having to replace the transmission tailshaft. We have been making out relocation crossmembers for 5 years and they have always had the instant center adjustability built into them. The crossmembers are made from .120" wall dom steel with a 1/4" thick torque arm mounting bracket. Having the ability to adjust your instant center will have a huge effect on your 60' times. We have the crossmembers in stock an ready for same day shipping. I'll post of a picture of the crossmember. If you have any questions please give us a call. Our tech/sales dept is available from 8:30AM-6:00PM EST. Mon-Fri.

I really like my BMR, it has alot of adjustment. And I like that the fastest cars use BMR parts, not just the cheapest knock off copies. The car shifts so much better with the TA off the trans, at 1st it felt weird WOT like I missed the gear. But after a day you get used to the shifter not moving up, same for bumps on the hyway. Its all smooth now, the car shifts alot better.

Can you use the stock torque arm with these relocation crossmembers? I dont really have the need for a aftermarket torque arm right now, but I see a lot of people say it makes the shifting easier.

Yes you can use the factory torque arm with the torque arm relocation kit. You just need to purchase a one piece bushing as well which can be purchased from us for $14.99, the two piece factory bushing will not work.
If I can help anymore please ask. Thank you!
