Rear shock mounts
anybody got pics of thier rear shock mounts with after market shocks installed? I have single adj. rear QA1's and on lower shock ends has been rubbing/hitting. what adapters if any do ya'll have installed? and let me see what home mods ya'll did on then rear shock mounts. here some pics I took.

You need to get a couple of shock clevises. Basically imagine a 4" strip of steel. Bend it into a U (but square the bottom of the U) and put a stud in the bottom of the U. I'll see if I can find a pic of mine.

The rear adj. swaybar and endlinks are from a company called Hellwig products. They're a sponsor over at www.frrax.com along with a dedicated forum thread. It's usually suited for those who're running track events (where it's allowed).

BTW, that is one of the prototype rear swaybars that I tested for Hellwig. It fit perfectly, and really allows some nice adjustments for handling. It bolted in without any modifications, too.
FYI - this would be a great thing for a street/strip car. They offer this bar in a few different sizes. Those sizes, plus the adjustment holes, are the equivalent of everything from a 19mm bar all the way up past a 25mm bar. It would allow the adjustability of a premium drag race bar, but with street manners.
