How to unfreeze the brake caliper bracket (the bolt in it)
While changing the rotors/pads on my front my brother and I were unable to pull out the damned bolt on the brake caliper, it's locked in place and it wont go on properly unless I can get it out. Any suggestions?

the bolts holding the caliper to the bracket. They are bolted to sliders to allow the caliper to float. you need to get a small wrench on the slider to keep it from spinning.

another thing (which I came across) is that the guide pin ( the slider in the caliper bracket) might be frozen. Mine was and wouldn't allow the caliper to go back on with fresh pads
We tried turning it loose and tried driving it out with a chisel but it was STUCK. we ended using oxy-acetylene and heated the bracket up to free the slider.
