call extreme horse power and they can help you
first you drill a hole on your radiator cap big enough for a wire, then u throw the sensor inside the radiator, then u connect, profit.

The easiest way has already been mentioned.
Just look at the back of the passenger side head and install it there.
If I recall correctly, I had to purchase the fitting though.
I got mine from autometer.

Thanks for the info. Is the sending unit the same thread as the hex screw? Or do I need to order some type of fitting.
Better to ask then to try it and dump coolant everywhere.

wtf ..
i bought autometer p/n 2277. this sis the 12mm-1.5 male to 1/8 female NPT fitting that goes into the passenger head.
i then bought autometer p/n 2258 which is "Sending Unit Thread Size: 1/8-27 NPT "
but the sending unit is too big to fit into the adapter for the head
am i missing something here or did i order the wrong p/n's

the sending unit part that's unthreaded is too long to fit down into the adapter. if i drill out the adapter unit i suppose the sending unit would fit down far enough to thread.

you can see in this pic that the sending unit wont fit down into the adapter so i'm going to drill out the adapter enough to slide the sending unit down far enough for it to thread.
