Friendly Inspection Shop!?
Hey guys, like the title says, I need a friendly inspection shop. I'm in the League City/ Clear Lake area and will drive to surrounding arreas. I already know a friendly guy on the northside.
I mean friendly, I would never ask anybody to do anything illegal
PM me if you don't want to post up. Thanks

I would even go a step forward as to say PM then talk on the phone about the address. That's some serious stuff.
But like I said I don't want anything illegal done. I'm just looking for someone who is nice to talk to, lol.

It's entrapment if you say you aren't, but you are.
But I don't think you are, lol. Just say you're not a cop and you need an illegal inspection because your car is illegal, lol. Should clear it all up. You might be getting tooo secretive, which does make it seem a little suspicious..
Also, fwiw, I just hit up the Jiffy Lube by my house with my dumped catless exhaust with tons of block off plates in the engine bay. I passed with flying colors, lol. Just don't have any codes on the computer, or it's pretty much impossible.
Good luck.

Sorry, you're incorrect. Don't feel too bad though, a lot of people get confused about what entrapment really is.
You would have to actually be persuaded by a police officer to commit a crime that would make any normal person commit the same crime. Let's say, theoretically, that he's looking to get an illegal inspection. If an officer said "Come to this location, we'll get you one" and he did so, then it's not entrapment. On the other hand, if a police officer convinced a law-abiding citizen to do something against the law and then arrested/ticketed them for it, that's considered entrapment.

You think a cop that's deep under cover doing meth and **** can't say he's not a cop? Not saying there's a bunch of cops doing meth before the cops poke their heads in..
If your dealing with a guy that's gotta ****** gun sayin try this **** out...there has been plenty cops that did it. Same thing as saying your not a cop.
Although I have seen some videos where people on COPS asked the hookers if they were cops and they were just like come on do I look like a ****** cop?

Man if you had to say you were a cop what the hell would be the point to even have under cover cops??? It is not like you can say, are you a cop and then no matter what they have to tell you or they can't arrest you..... That is probably the biggest bs story that I have ever heard. How is it entrapment if they say no they arent a cop, and you commit a crime you were gonna do either way!?!

Well what Morbid was saying is entrapement. It's when a cop tries to coax you into a crime you wouldn't have done otherwise.
For instance if I pulled into a gas station after a hurricane and there was food stacked outside and the cop said he that's for the residents, just take one bundle. Then a cop pulls me over while I'm leaving and says you just stole from that store...Then THAT would be entrapement. You broke a law of stealing because I cop made you tink it was ok.
