Help!
I’m going to try and make a long story short. My car has a 119,000 miles on the clock, and is in need of a new motor. While I’ve done some minor wrenching here and there, I usually take my car to performance shops for any work that needs to be done. I am looking to remove the motor and replace it with a new one myself. I have never taken on a project this big, and am looking to gather as much information as possible before I get started. My camaro isn’t my daily driver so I have plenty of time to make sure I get things right. I used the search button, but didn’t seem to find to many step by step write ups on engine removal. Any information would be greatly appreciated! If I posted this in the wrong place I apologize.

There's a book at barnes and noble that should help. Its called ls1/ls6 or something like that. The cover has a truck, camaro, and c5 corvette on it and 3 motors in front of them.
