Default Ls1 brake swap

Im pretty sure im going to swap out my ls1 brakes for lt1 brakes to help clear drag wheels. What should i ask for $$ wise in addition to the brakes?

Also if anyone local is looking for a cheap brake upgrade a decent set of pads with red painted calipers.

Let me know guys.

id say 100-150 for both fronts would be fair

either that or find a guy with lt1 brakes and do a trade + some cash.

Where are you located? I did the swap on my car, I paid $125 for the calipers, came with rotors, pads and lines but I went all after market, just using the calipers. Those all came from a 20K mile SS, ZFsix on here. I paid like another 100 or so for the spindles, complete sets sell for $250. All these parts are easy to find, so your not doing any one a favor by selling your stock stuff. By that, any one looking to do the swap can easily find these parts.

Im located in Wichita falls. Might hit up some of the local lt cars.

Im thinking like 150$ and they buy the beer for the swap.

that sound fair.

I did the LS1 brake conversion on a 94 and still have the spindles, calipers, rotors and pads. Give me $60 and you can keep yours.
