Default Question for those of you with cutouts...

For someone that has a stock motor with hooker lt, and ory... Does a cutout have any "tone" to it, or is it just loud? Like, does it SOUND good?

I think it sounds good. You have to like "loud" though...

I don't understand how you guys do it. I ran open headers on my V6 and couldn't even make it around the block, it's so God damn loud and the entire car shakes.

I just installed my LT/ORY setup with the cutout and it sounds alot better bud. I had the cutout before with just the stock setup also but with the LT/ORY it added a little chop and is louder but sounds really good! I will see if I can get a sound clip for you if you want.

I have pesonaly heard open headers on my motor and my brothers 3.8. Its not even close to the same man. Also its not open headers its just an exhaust cut out. I ran around with 2 foot of 2.5" pipe and that was it after my headers for atleast a year and loved it.

Ehh, I just don't like it all underneath my car. Rattles everything and just kinda gets old. But thats why you get electric ones! On and Off whenever.
