Default Moving to Beaumont for job, no idea where to live

As the title states, just graduated from A&M and got a job with ExxonMobil. Any ideas on good apartments to check out that are in the price range of 600-700/month?

Calder Oaks off of Calder is where I live, and it's pretty decent. It's on the west side of Beaumont, so it's a good neighborhood. I haven't had any problems since moving in, be it car vandalism, noise complaints, etc. It's 495 a month for a one bedroom, may be worth checking out. I was out at Exxon Mobil for a while as well under a contractor. Beaumont's not so bad, especially if you're on the right side of it.

Refinery/Chemical or Polyethylene? They are on opposite sides of Beaumont.

I live in Nederland, (right next to Port Neches) and it takes about 15 minutes to drive to Exxon's refinery or chemical plant. I would suggest looking at somewhere on the west side of Beaumont or the surrounding areas. Nederland, Port Neches, Groves, etc is also great (considered "mid-county" around here). Anything in downtown Beaumont (east side) is probably going to suck. All the areas around Lamar/Exxon are ghetto.
