help with Swap - need manifolds/headers to try
Hey folks...
I've just about finished swapping my RX7 (FC) and wanted to figure out the options I have for headers and exhaust manifolds.
I've tried 2002 LS1 manifolds, they fit but the driver side O2 is a no-go (yes I can plug it and move it)
tried 2006 GTO manifolds. These were too wide for the frame rail and steering shaft
Got a set of C6 LS3 manifolds, they may fit but are really close to my mounts.
Used to have a set of LS7 manifolds, these hit the mounts badly so I sold them
Anyone have some truck manifolds I can borrow? What about truck/F-body/GTO etc LSX headers?
I live in Katy and work in the Galleria, so I can meet up with folks around either area.
I know Foxbody 351 swap headers fit with a flange change and JTR makes headers that fit for $900. Looking for other options as well to help the hobby while I have my stuff apart.
Thanks!

I believe i saw somewhere that no F-body headers will work on RX's and i believe manifolds too... i think you would be better off just getting the headers made or buying them from a company that makes them specifically for your swap... (i may be wrong)

I'm just going to plug the o2 hole and put it in the pipe, with the 02 manifolds, for now. I've got a friend that's going to help me cut up some longtubes to modify them to work.

Funny thing is I had truck manifolds but sold them before the engine went in. I would think there's a chance fbody headers would work after changing the last tube in the back?
There's plenty of info saying this and that doesn't fit. Not much on why. I'm a show me type guy haha
