halfway to my lq9 swap :)
got a g saved and just need a couple weeks to save up for the labor and stuff ...wooooo instead of fixing my 166,000 ticking ls1 motor im just getting a swap lol
anyone else done a ls1 to lq9 swap lately ?

not sure yet guy selling me a low milage lq9 stock sixohh gunna sell my motor because it might b a easy fix but ahhh i wanna see what a 6,0 can do lol will i feel the power difference right away?

ohh...lol well my ls1 has 166 thousand miles so idk if its worth fixing because i wont have the money to rebuild it the motor im hoping is still good and is just a bad lifter so im gunna try and sell it thanks for the info

I saw a difference going from a tourquer v2 cammed ls1 to the setup i'm runnin now..I think alot of that was just new engine and a better matched cam vs a 115k mile ls1 with a big bumpstick in it. Has always seemed like the 6.0 makes better/smoother power thru the rpm band though.

Modded, you will feel it since the bore allows more air flow and the extra cubes makes more TQ the LS cannot. So, even stock, it should have more seat of the pants feel, if not by much, you will be able to tell i think. Heads and cam LS1s look at my tail lights and i dont even have heads, but my carb and intake out flow nearly any EFI intake so i have an advantage there.
