I have heard nothing but good things. I would have got these for my vette but I got a smokin deal on my ARH. There is the huge debate over the 1 3/4 vs. 1 7/8, I say its mostly all crap about losing low end torque and what not. If you gonna be running a shot or a power adder always go bigger IMO.

Thanks, well since the motor isnt in the car now, I dont see any problems installing them. My cam should be here withing the next 3 weeks after that all my front suspension will be ordered.

Depending on your motor a bigger size header can make more power. On certain setups you will not see a huge performance gain over a standard 1 3/4" header (ie stock motor, heads/cam). As the motor size gets bigger is where you start to notice a huge difference. We went with 1 7/8" Kooks on my brothers Vette over this TPIS 1 3/4" headers when we went with the 427 so we never got to see the difference in power. I ran a 1 7/8" to 2" header with a 3.5" collector (Kooks) on my old 408ci n2o car. I had Dynatech 1 3/4 to 1 7/8" headers on before. Another thing we never went back to back on because when we did the Kooks, we did a 300 shot fogger, LSx 90mm intake, Powerglide, etc...
If you are getting a deal on them you might as well go for it. If it's not a BIG benefit now it maybe in the future if you go any bigger.

A 370 will definitely pick up some power w/ the larger header. We engine dyno'd the 1 3/4 to 1 7/8 headers and the larger header pick up from 3000 RPM on w/ a peak of about 7 FWHP gain. That was on a stock LS1 motor w/ a FAST intake. (Only used intake we had handy that day.) With more cubes or heads/cam, there would be a bigger gain there. If the motors out of the car, its a good time to put some in. The larger primaries are a little harder to install. However, it's not a terrible install or anything if you decide to do it down the road. Let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks!
