Default Can I beat this guy?

I'm putting a Diamond clutch in my car tomorrow and I was excited, so I posted up on Facebook that I wanna race someone to see what I could get.

Someone replied and said they'd race me. They asked me what car I had and what it had. I replied:

"‎2000 Camaro Z/28. It's not even an SS... It just got a single upgraded cam, intake, exhaust, tune and minor suspension." <-Lol @ that

He replied:

"‎95 Honda Civic hatch fully built high compression K20 a1 on ground control coilovers, nitto neo gen drag raidials with strange traction bars fully gutted jus 2 front seats and a DC sway bar in the back....golden eagle rods, weisco pistons, benson sleeves...and skunk 2 springs retainers and cams in the head...k pro ecu theres a pic of my car in my new pics album"

I asked if he wanted to race a 1/4 mile for a case of beer lol. Someone's getting drunk tomorrow!!! lol.

My car has an MS3 cam, LS6 intake, LTs, Y-pipe, dump exhaust, Texas speed tune and a few suspension parts. Tell me if I'm making a mistake, but I doubt this will be even close on his part...

Lol I knew I was talking to an idiot and I had a idea that he was a ricer. I always say: The difference between domestic and import is if you place the "s" on the end of "head" or "cam"

Plus I wanted to down play my car so I could catch a race. My car is too damn loud to find a race on the street. Everyone suspiciously turns onto the next road. Not like my car is fast as **** by any means...

That's what LS1 fans say lol

I know there's plenty of fast cars with twin cams or over head cams, but it's still funny to me. lol

any v type motor has 2 heads by definition. also, any car that isnt over head valve or single over head cam has 2 cams or more. has nothin to do with domestic/import

Lol I wouldn't call me "retarded". I'd call it more of... "drunk" lol

You really don't have to explain to me that any V engine has 2 heads. I realize this. And I actually realize and FULLY understand everything you just posted. So maybe the newbs reading this will learn something from your post. As for the rest of us, I thought we had a sense of humor here.

My e-stab was directed at sbc's vs. 4 cylendar engines. I'm sorry you fail to see the humor here. Maybe the lack of grin on your face is related to the outdated opti-spark in your engine? Idk...

Like someone else has said before: "The internetz is serious business yo!"

Ok... If you consider the flat 4 engine of an old school VW a "V" engine then sure... it has 2 heads.

And I never denied that a 4 cylendar can have one cam. But people tend to ignore cars like Saturns. There's exceptions to every idealology of engine shapes and designs. That's what keeps mechanics like me in business. If every engine was the same, then there would be no demand for "specialists".

You say a V16 motor has two heads. I say NAY! Not the tractor I saw at the tractor pull last week. They had 4 heads! (and don't call me a redneck cause I've never been to a tractor pull (tho I wish I have) I was just proving a point)
