Do not go to transmission pros in Denton they are the same as the old rock on transmissions dave is a complete crook. I use jakes performance in Sanger. Knows his **** prices are fair and he's a good guy. Obviously knows his **** has a patent on his trans brake.

+1 For Gilbert @ ACE!! I know hes no longer a sponsor on here, but i have been running his stage 2 4L60E for 3 years with no issues. I went on a 1100 mile road trip 2 days after getting my tranny built by him and had no problems.

Who recommend rock-on or transmission pro's? I'm David P Rockwell with DPTransmission don't get them mixed up please. What ever problems you have with rock-on or transmission pro's you need to take that up with them.

I got some nice work from Phoenix Transmission out of Weatherford. A lot of the Impala SS guys get their 4L60Es done there. I've went thru 2 of them before getting it built there (stage 1 to about 450hp) & haven't had any problems since. Still shifts very firm & chirps 2nd. Not bad for a 4400lb beast with an anemic LT1.

I once got in a wreck & the tranny started slipping. I took it back to them & they repaired no questions asked under warranty.

Yes I remember you I am the one that you left a scan tool in my car and I drove it. Back to you. That's the same transmission I got screwed on and your dad said he would take care of it then when I brought it to him he said you screwed up on the build and install and that's why he fired you. But he was fixing it never got it or converter back then when he told me to get it he didn't have it and when I demanded it he called the cops after threatening to shoot me didn't work. He will get his in the long run I'm sure. Karma is a bitch.

So I made a mistake on your transmission I'm not afraid to say that I'm not perfect I do make mistakes like everybody in this world. I didn't get fired I made some life changes.
