95 WS6..Yay or nay?
soo pretty much, would you or wouldn't you guys jump at the chance to pick up a 95 WS6 for 2k??? little info about the car:
Black auto car, does not run at the moment (but I know what the problem is) grey interior, which is in good shape minus the dash is cracked....paint is clean for it being a 95, with no body work needed what o ever...100% stock and never modded.....but has a little mileage on the clock (170K)
now I was looking for an LS car and came across it, and looked like it would be a good deal, for an LS swap or do a little work on since I have a lot of my parts from my Cam/nitrous 95 Z28 and running it like that till the Boat anchor gave way.... or perhaps get it, fix it, and sell it for a little profit if I ended up not liking it in the long run.

/SIGH retard you are the only one who seems to find these ungodly deals that i sometime think are figments of your imagination.
But before this turns into a hate on penguin thread, stick with OP's question.
95 Trans am WS6 clone or not.
I'd probably buy it but then again 170k and the seller is trying to say its a ws6 witch it is NOT.. sooo kinda shady at the same time.

Yeah I know, but whatever. Even if y'all think I'm gloating or not, it's valuable to his cause.
Stay on craigslist or flag down people driving around. There's an LT1 z28 vert nearby on flat tires, theyll probably let it go cheap I can check it out for you if you want.
I personally don't think I get amazing deals, y'all just pay wayyy to much for ****.

Doesn't sound like great deal to me. Yall Need to stop talking about flipping it. No 1 in their right mind would pay more thanI 3000 dollars for a lt1 with that many miles

I'd hold off myself. There are pretty damn good deals that pop up occasionally. Now I have a hard time seeing LS1 cars being found for $3k on a regular basis, but they can be had for that price with minor issues......think about people who don't know a damn thing about cars, and they have an oil pan gasket, or rear main let go. They'll gladly sell the car for $1-2k less than whats it worth knowing what the repairs will run......thats how I got my T/A cheap......rear main leaking, valve cover leaking, axle seals leaking, rear rotors bad, and cracked windshield = ~ $2k off the price.

I thought the same thing being a fairly knowledgeable LT1 4th gen guy myself but 1st thing I did was check the door codes and sure enough....it had the WS6 code on the door sticker....it's a pretty clean car for being it's age.
and if I were to get it, and not do an LS swap, and still keep it....it'd be being built for a LTX shootout car, but nothing extreme like Tony Shepperd's car.

no such thing as a 95 ws6. it was probably made in 95, but sold as a 96 model like most cars.
i'd buy it, fix it, and drive it. my little lt1 just rolled 200k and the engine runs fine.

on a side note, the website I was doing my research digging on didn't really clarify much or breakdown a lot of info

well I'm gonna have to wait until Dec. 5 to go look it over once more since the owner will be back home for the holidays.. I'm in no hurry at all since I've been looking for another toy for about 6-7months now......
