Who gives a ****? Was that comment that important to you?
I got an interview next Tuesday, so excited. He said we will probably load rail cars for the first couple months because of our age but he wants us in there, I'll keep you guys posted I'm sure i can get others in. $18 an hour loading stuff ain't bad but after that it's a done deal. They just wanna make sure we are ready for the work and we won't run off before we get in the plant.

I actually went through the same hiring process as him. Be didn't make it past the first set of interviews. After that there was two more panel style interviews, a background check, and a drug test. So choking on one question probably didn't get him past that interview but there was a lot more after that before he got the job.

Sorry bro, just I'm just real defensive from stress and not sleeping, nothing personal. But basically that's why, I simply wasn't ready.
No one has been going through the hiring process lately?
Idk he just said loading rail cars, I'm a big guy so I'm not too worried. What's working on a rig like?

Like red281gt mentioned, that sack throwin **** from rail carts is no ****** joke!
I tried my hand at it when i was bout 19
Me mr bmf 375lb. Bench press 20in arms gym rat badass didnt last a week doing that.
I think that the taller you are,the harder it is. Iwas wore the **** out by day 3. Im 6ft. And i felt so clumsy doin that work, there were these older, smaller guys just slinging sacks like no thing. Maybe has alot to do with skill slinging those rice sacks, but it is def very hard labor. I wish u well if u take the job, but dont rely just on ur strength or size. It is also a skill, watch the older guys tactics.

typically when dealing in plants as an operator or loader when you hear the term "rail car it means these.

there are many different variations of railcars for low pressure liquid, high pressure liquid, solid bulk and others.

I'm 6'5 so throwing **** is gonna suck. I'm the same as you though, 19 gym rat etc. Max is only 335 though but I'll be up there soon.
Just gave him a call today and he's pulling a lot of strings for us. He talked to the lead guy at Austin and we are next in line for an opening. I can bring a few of y'all in after my buddy and I get established but what he's doing for us is a very rare thing.
I have an interview for a bad *** job at a funeral home Thursday so that will be fun too. My dads ex worked there and the pay plus benefits is outstanding. I'd hate to drop out of college, but honestly it doesn't seem all it's cracked up to be. 3 of my middle aged friends are millionaires and they are all high school drop outs, just can't ever look away from your goals.
