Ha took me 10 hrs to do my headers/poly mount/spark plugs/new steering rack with a friend. Mind you that the first 1st hr was sitting and bull crapping looking things over and making sure we had all the parts and letting the car cool down. 1-2 hr pulling everything off. 1hr fighting to get the motor mount bolts in after replacing the motor mounts. After getting the new headers in we fought the steering rack knuckle for about another hour until we finally figured out that the rack that was in the car was a lt1 rack... 2-3 hours later we sourced a new ls1 rack for proper fitment and everything else just came together. All in all even with the hiccups and head ache it was a great experience and I got to learn alot about my car. Some true bonding time.
