Tsp Duals? Inspection passable?
I'm looking at ordering tsp duals when they are back In stock. Will the pass with cats or will I have to swap to a ypipe setup everytime I go for inspection? I'm in Odessa/midland.
Any experience with this?

Get the tune done and make sure you dont have any check engine lights or service engine soon lights. Then as mellow said long as they dont do the full visual check you will pass.

I was told by the lady giving the test to get your license to do inspections at a inspection site, that as long as it has cats and the exhaust points downwards and it goes past the rear most seating area that it is legal. I then asked, what if it is a car with a rear hatch i.e a carmaro. She said it doesnt matter because noone will be sitting in the cargo area. Thats what i was inform....but i always have trouble getting a sticker at a Big name location. I have a few less stick places i go now.

I went there not knowing what was going to happen and told the guy I got it tuned he didn't even visually check it just hooked it up to the machine I crossed my fingers and I guess the tune was dead on cause it passed no problem.

Iv got a frost tune and my inspection is already up. Since tsp is out of stock on duals I don't have that yet. I was just asking if I could pass with them for next year since I will get my duals welded.

I had some under the axle inspection pipes made up for mine. Come time, I band clamp them on, use a wire clothes hanger to help hold them up, get the inspection done, then take them back off for next year. Looks ghetto as hell, but they're only on for an hour tops.

in 7 years of being in TX, i've only had one place actually check for cats, and that was a dealership.
usually, the more ghetto the place looks, the less they check. if you are unsure of a location, just watch them do a car or two before you bring it in... see if they check everything or if the car is out of there in 5 mins.
