Pine Valley TNT 2/27/16
I know Pine Valley normally runs 1/8 but when they open for TNT next month will they allow 1/4? There is a Gambler's race that day which I'm sure will be 1/8 but I was wondering about TNT? Anyone been and know?

A Gambler's Race is something they typically do in addition to a regular bracket program or during a test and tune day like this. There is an entry fee ... maybe $50 ... and a pot for the winner and runner-up. Might pay $1,000 or so depending on the car count. Sometimes they keep Super Pro and Pro separate, sometimes they're lumped together, sometimes they let the winners of each run-off for the money. Each track does it differently and often the payout will depend on the entries. Coach races way more than we do at PV so he may have more specifics on numbers.
We're going to go weather permitting to start sorting out the progressive controller on our nitrous system. I finally put a bar and harness in the car so we're legal to 10.0. Plan to bring several nitrous and NANO bottles and see if we get the timers sorted out to make sure the car hooks. DA this time of year is typically very favorable and extremely fast. We picked up an enclosed trailer last fall too so we're excited to tow with it.

Thank you and I agree. My wife and I bracket race our car often and will more now that our work schedules and situations have changed both for the better. We also like to drive our C5 to local show and shines and have tried to get involved in the local Corvette club. BUT ... most of those guys turn their noses in the air when they see drag radials and anything on the car not GM. Oh well, to each their own. If it's a V8 and RWD in my book ... it belongs at a drag strip at some point.

Thanks. Since my youngest boy is five now I am gonna try and make every date. Also, Little River seems to be having quite a few index events along with a ton more races. I wish Lonestar would copy and paste there schedule just on different weekends. I have never been to Little River. It looks they may have new owners? How's the racing there?

I've never felt safe going down that track (lonestar). Not well prepped/maintained seems like. I've had a couple of close calls. I doubt I will be back anytime soon myself.

I think that is what the current owner wants (what a dickface) oops, excuse my language. I never had any trouble hooking and getting down there but I've always been lucky in that area and my **** is slow. I guess he has enough money not to give a damn about the backbone of drag racing. It was my favorite place to race

Can you share with us your combination that is going to get you into the 9s? Is that NA? We are shooting for the 9s also this year in street trim.
