I run there alot. Track prep is sometimes ok, but its closer than HRP. Their last day to race this year will be Dec. 17th. Its supposed to be a match race deal with test n tune that starts at 9:00 a.m. Find out more about it at goldentriangleracers.topcities.com

I have raced there once, when I moved to Beaumont about a year ago. I had my thunderbird sc at the time. nice track for a place that used to be a runway. They have the times posted at the end of the track, and give you the print to. I forgot what it ran to run on it, i think it was like $20-$25.
Since then, I have not been back.

I've ran there before with both cars, track prep varies. Only about 10 - 15 mins closer then HRP for me where I live in Bmt. so I usually just go to HRP unless I'm T&T'ing parts or setup where traction is not going to be all too important. Dec. 17 will be a Texas vs. Louisiana race plus some match racing so may run out there & watch their season ender.

That and a couple other things.

Main priority is the old race car right now. My new block for that car came in Wed. and gonna order a forged rotating assembly from Randy in a couple of weeks. Once that car is all done the silver car will be down for a little while and return as a stronger daily driver. I picked up a great set of core heads yesterday that will be off to MTI in Jan. or Feb. to go along with the cam I plan on running. I want to swap it all at once if possible and maybe do the long haul in the Power Tour if I can get my vacation time in June.
