Blown Motor, Trashed Tranny, trashed rearend
The funny part is none of this was in my SS, but my little yellow M3. At 11,000miles I threw a rod because of a problem with the rod bolts on cars with my build date. That problem was fixed and the car has been running great. Now the car has 23,000miles on it and all has gone to hell. My car has the SMG Trans. For about a week the shifting has been really rough and not very crisp like normal. Then this morning the trans lost every gear, but 4th, and the rearend blew up. I called BMW and they picked up the car, but this is the biggest bunch of **** for a car that was more than twice the price of my SS. Just seeing if anyone else has had similar problems with their M3. Let me know what yall think.
