DD - G35 or Legacy GT ?
I'm not sure if I am going to keep the Formula or not. That's a different debate...
But, I am going to be doing a lot more driving now with my new job (start soon) and I need something nice but for me it must be sporty. I narrowed it down to two reasonable options.
G35 Sedan or Subaru Legacy GT
I like the G35 simply b/c I know it is dependable and a good combination of luxury/sport. On the other hand the Subie is also dependable and had a little less luxury but more sport. Plus the subie is much more mod-able. Stock is 250 but 300hp is easy to do.
Thoughts? Suggestions?

If you can swing it, get the G35 coupe. Don't mod it either. Once you start down that road, you don't usually stop. I'd love to drive a G35 Coupe.
The Suburu will last forever tho, if they're still built the way they used to be.

btw, what is your max price range? New cars only or used cars too?
Corvette = cheaper insurance than an f-body, 30 mpg with a 6-spd. 10x the cool factor of either of those two chick cars you are looking at.
how about a Pontiac Solstice. Seems like a fun car, reasonably priced if you can find one.
If you *must* choose between the two above, the G35 is a much nicer car. Girls will still dig it. The Subie will appeal to geeky guys only, its basically girl repellent.

I don't really want to put a ton of miles on the Formula and I am not willing to drive the Spec stg3 in any more traffic than I have to. It grabs like crazy but not very friendly. Plus I still have yet to install the TR230...currently I get 16-17 mpg in the city.
Well the sedans have seating for 4 whereas the Formula is realistically 2. That is seating I may need.

Go with the legacy gt...
Turbo, awd, Torquey with the 2.5, and it was made to be a 4 door. If you ever want a little more umph, you can get a tune + a mbc and pick up some easy power.
The g35 sedan is .
Actually, go evo 9. 4 door awd with great handling and is extremely mod friendly. The interior is somewhat spartan, but it gets the job done. Might be a little away from what you are looking into getting, but it's a fun car.

it has statistically been driven by a different demographic of individuals, with a different driving style. you have a fucked up record you'll still have a jacked insurance bill.
also look into the MazdaSpeed6, thats a sharp lookin car with the pearl paintjob and two tone leather interior and turbo'd motor.

And I think he is also looking for a sedan in particular because he may need to carry around clients, so some luxury may be necessary .
