Dallas is good and so is arlington and other cities around that area, just incase u move to dallas dont live by any of the highschools. And since u have experience in the automotive field try the car dealerships in the upper class part of dallas.

hope this helps.

Austin is hands down the best part of TX to live in. Just so much uniqueness and so much to do. I live in houston, it's ok, there are nice suburbs of houston and Dallas as well. My vote is for Austin though....

Hey thanks guys I was looking at a few houses on the net what do you think about this one and the area.
http://homes.realtor.com/search/list...cnt=211#Detail

I currently familiar with porsche, audi and LS1's which are by far the best! But the dealer I work for does all the high end European cars. I'm Just looking to make about 45-50k. I expect a bit of a pay cut cause the house above out here would clear a million dollars.

I can deal with hectic I live just off a 7 lane highway and its stop and go 5 days a week and not much better on the weekends. You can go ion the highway a t 3 in the morning and there will be traffic. I work with 16 porsche techs I think we are the 2nd busiest dealer in the country! Really Id just like a nice house with a big garage. And I need to install a lift! I also miss my southern bells to many stuck up girls out here. too many paris hiltons

Thats a nice area. You will love austin man, went to school there for 2 years, best time of my life. San antonio is 45 minutes away, san marcos, new braunfels are a stones throw away. Hill country is absolutely beautiful. Guadalupe, san marcos rivers to float, crazy college girls everywhere...lol.

www.seethehomes.com will be good for looking for homes in texas. Check out the zipcode 75028 or 75077 and you will find some nice homes and award winning schools and Highland Village 75077 was voted the safest city in texas many years in a row. I lived their for 10 years and now live in flower mound which is beside highland village and are both high class safe areas.

I like DFW too, it has a ton to do, a great car scene and it doesnt cost a fortune to live. I live in Abilene which is 2 hours from Ft. worth...Abilene is a decent city but most likely not your cup of tea, Im station here and make the most of it. Ive been to Houston and didnt care for it much. Austin is cool but gonna cost more than the DFW area. San Antonio isnt bad...its the cheapest of the buch easily. I cant belive how low housing is in San Antonio. Im actually here right now and have been looking around. If I had a choice Id roll with DFW though.

Im from So Cal (Fullerton) so I know exactly what you are talking about how crazy it is to live there. I left in 99 when I joined the Air Force and couldnt see buying a house there...a nice one anyway for a long time and I make decent money.
