Default WTB: 3" exhaust cutout

Like the title says, I need a 3" exhaust cutout. I would like an electric. Do the motors burn out often like I've heard? If they do, then I will just buy a manual one since it will most likely be open most of the time anyway.

I've heard alot of guys have trouble with the QTP's. Mine crapped out on me after a few months too..I'm sticking to the regular old cutouts from now on I guess.

I would just go ahead and get a manual cut out. My friend has 2 on his corvette and it sounds great when they are uncapped. I wouldn't go with the electric ones, I heard the motor and/or gasket mess up after awhile... Well atleast thats what some guy told me that used to have 2 on his chevelle here in town.

Thats cool, picked up a manual one yesterday from pSSycotic. Anyone ever heard of or seen a mechanical open/close switch in the car as opposed to the electric motor? Apparently my friend used to have one on his Mustang but Ive never seen one.

I've had a QTP in my T/A's Borla cat-back for 2-1/2 years now with zero problems.

Peace,
Craig.

I have a 3" cut out at home. Does not have a motor but does have the plate for manual use. I used the motor on my 2.5. I will sell it for $20 picked up in Plano.
