Default What will it take to beat T56's time???

Anyone have their own goal of beating Joe and Amber's 8.935?

my old setup was a H/C/Nitrous 346ci. it went 6.3 in the 1/8 mile.

My new setup is about 6 months from being complete, but wonder what it'll take to beat their time?

Anyone else around planing on building a fast 6 speed setup?

Your car should be fast, but will it still be a street car?
Just wondering.
Did you end up going with Raymac or did you decide to ship it to Erik?
Amber and Joe's car is a high reving NA M6 car...aren't you a PA'ed M6?

tagged and inspected street car. it will stay a synchro'd 6 speed this time though.

well 6.3 is like a high 9 or 10.0 on a 6 speed

5.8 are around a 9.0
so plan on going 70's at minumum to beat them...still wont have bragging rights since they are doing it n/a and your doing it with boost

better have lots of moeny in sus/and 2 step/rear/ds to get a 6 speed with boost to cut a great 60' and keep it going

our setups are apples and oranges. even the "6 speed" part is apples to oranges since mine is no longer proshifted.

i'd like to see other LSx cars try and go fast rowing gears though.

We both know that anyone can get a car tagged and inspected.

I mean't as in, will it be somewhat driver friendly?, lol.
What are you putting on it?
88mm?

You never answered by question about who is doing the engine build though.

I dont get it, why would a synchrod tranny be smaller i guess i just dont know what a powershifted trans is. I dont see how you could shift any faster if you didnt have synchros. Some one please explain.

S.W. in Austin just ran 8.73 @ 170 mph (1.43 60') in a 6-speed Supra, this past week. Pretty amazing stuff for an inline 6-cylinder with a STOCK tranny and rearend.

Isn't that CJ's supra? If not there are two 6 speed cars in Austin that run like that now.
