balancer puller for a truck motor?

Default balancer puller for a truck motor?

i own two balancer pullers and neither of them work! i have a 5.3 truck engine im trying to get the balancer off of. is there a special tool to get it off?

I used a common, 3 leg puller on my 6.0.
I left the bolt in for a spacer, then put the puller on, pulled til I hit the bolt, then backed the bolt out, and repeated the process.

Are you pulling from the inside of the pulley?
