When do they notify you of sales?? I went yesterday to buy some deep sockets and big wrenches and they said I couldn't get a discount

Does this happen on certain days only or how do I know what qualifies for the discount? I got my card on Saturday.

Its strange to me, I haven't gotten a flyer in awhile. They used to send me one and then you knew what you could use your club card on.

Bad on them, I used to impulse buy tools if I got a extra discount on them and though I would use it.

Maybe cutting back on costs? The website has the "electronic" flyer on it.

I work at sears and yes they are cutting back on paper ads. If you have moved or not purchased anything I have noticed they will send you less ads or nothing at all. If it's been a while just go back onto craftsman.com and sign back up, you'll get a new card and can update your info with a fresh phone number to look up your card. As of last week they are trying out a new ad technique where no paper ads are going out but you will probably notice that associates are asking for your email...that is where the sears ads will now be sent to, along with coupons from time to time. PS "Will this be on your sears card today?"

Thanks for the tip. I am now a member. I wish I had known about this about a year ago when I bought my toolbox and a bunch of tools.

+1 here

Another bonus...f you have a sears credit card, you get reward points on there too. I asked the lady signing me up and basically you can double up on rewards if you pay with your sears card AND show your membership card.

Giggity giggity.

I'm new to this site. I was a member of the Craftsman Club. This was a great marketing tool and a helpful sticky for anyone not in the know. SInce sears ended this promotion I have to ask; is this sticky needed?
