Nope ... got the Block right, though ... but I'll give you a clue ... It's not a Class C subnet ... what's the machine Ip ... not the outside interface ... gateway's easy.

That's like finding out what my IP is on this laptop.. (192.168.1.113 BTW). Its irrelevant, its a reserved class C "non routable" (on the public internet) range of class C's (192.168.0.0/16). If you're behind a NAT gateway, your "true" IP is meaningless because its not (directly) addressable from the public internet.

yeah, that's all common knowledge - hey, if you want a 3:23 gearset with less than 10,000 miles on it and in prisitne condition, I'll mail it to you and I'll pay the shipping. Though you prob don't need this, maybe someone you know can use it.
thanks for replying. I really think you're good at what you do on this board and I have a lot of experience on heterogeneous networks at the Enteprise level ... you've come a VERY long way over the years ... keep up the good work and let me know if you want the gears.

Thanks for the offer, but I have no need for a 3.23 gearset. Heck, nothing over here fits 'em anymore (10 bolts are gone in favor of a 9" Ford, and a 12 bolt Moser).
If I were able to get your FIREWALL's DMZ interface IP, your firewall is probably set up weird/wrong. Most firewalls' bridge the DMZ with the external interface and filter at layer 2 (and up) - and thus share the IP of the external interface. If you're talking about the IP of a machine in the DMZ, again if its set up without NAT I would see the "real" ip. Otherwise, I see the external address of your NAT box.

.... more common knowledge, but, forget all that. There is a hole and it's there for you to try and find ... it's a blocked port above 1026, however, it's protected and not impossible to get through.
Yeah, about the 10 bolts, they're still alive and well (misnomer ... not well for sure ... POS ... LOL!) up north of me. Broke one and that's all it took for me to go with a 12 bolt and an Eaton HC posi - spool's too loud on turns.
Take care my friend and hope you Holidays are good ones ... be safe and take care.

Maybe I should start a thread about whether or not people can guess what color my desk is, or how big my hard drive is...WHO ******* CARES.
BTW, do you want my old cupholder? It only has about 47,000 miles on it and I will pay shipping...
