I absolutely love this car, and I have taken great pride in it. The car has a title as clean as the body. Check the Carfax and see for yourself!
When I say I have taken great pride in this car, it's a great understatement. I have maintained this car as well as you can. I only use the best synthetic oil in my car: Mobil 1 and recently Royal Purple. I also put NGK Plugs/wires in the car (professionally installed). I have NOT driven this car hard, and I will stand by that statement 100%. This car has been babied. This car has all the bells and whistles you can possibly want. This car is 100% reliable, there is nothing wrong with the it. Anyone would be pleased with this car. In late 2007 GM stopped putting the forged Alcoa 18' rims on the GXP, and replaced them with cheaper material. This is one of the last GXP's from early 2007 production that has the 18' forged Alcoa rims. The interior of this car has always been well kept, using the best Armor All protectants. The leather in this car is in pristine condition; no tears, burn marks ect. This car has never been smoked in. When I was looking for a GXP, it was hard to find one with clean leather/interior. THIS ONE HAS IT. The DIC (Driver Information center) shows all the current specs on the car from tire pressure to lateral G's. It shows gas mileage on average and instant also. This car does have the DOD (Displacement On Demand) feature, which means on the highway (45MPH +) the car runs on 4 cylinders. This doesn't happen in manual mode though. I get great gas mileage for a V8. On the highway I have seen 30+ MPG. The tires are not bald and have plenty of rubber left. The GXP rides about an inch lower to the ground than other Grand Prix models, thanks to the Bilstein sport tuned suspension. The car features Magnasteer also. The GXP also has more aggressive front and rear fascias, as well as factory extended rocker panels.
Engine
This car has the 5.3L LS4 DOD aluminum engine, mated to the A4 transmission that features TAPShift manual-mode on the steering wheel.
Some of the features on this car:
HUD (Heads Up Display), power drivers seat with lumbar support, dual climate control, retractable sunroof, fog lights, running lights, 18' forged Alcoa rims, heated leather seats with suede inserts, 25% tint all around, DIC, GXP vents on the side, as well as airbags all around, monsoon sound system, GXP drilled brake calipers, satellite radio, remote start, on-the-wheel audio control, and much more. Super clean car.
The car does have minor blemishes on rims and body. No major dents, dings, blemishes.
I have made some mild modifications to the engine/exhaust:
K&N Aircharger, NGK plug/wire kit, Flowmaster MUFFLERS and resonator delete, and the car has been tuned by the LS4 masterminds of Overkill Motorsports. I do not have the stock mufflers or stock parts other than the stock ECU/TCU. I guarantee this car will please and satisfy your tastes, no matter if it's speed or comfort. I cannot stress enough how disappointed I am that I have to sell my GXP, but future endeavors are forcing me to sell it. I am 100% confident of this: there isn't a better maintained, cared for GXP in this kind of shape on the market. Especially not for this price. I am open for reasonable trades, and price is negotiable.
