Default anyone in OC/Riverside running MS4?

fairly sure im putting an MS4 in my new motor build...

id like to see/hear/get a ride in an MS4 car before i throw that big cam in. Im not worried about "drivability", i just kinda wanna know what the car is going to handle like...

so anyone that has an MS4 and would be willing for me to hear it and have them just take me for a few stop lights cruising lemme know.

of course lunch and or beer and or whatever could be compensated for gas and time

Well I'd just wait to do everything together so you don't have to pay twice for tuning. If on stock heads, I'd go for the ms3 unless you're gonna fly cut.

Why fly cut? Does the ms4 require a hi cr? I wanted to put an ms4 in the impala if I can sell my turbo cam.

You'd want to fly cut so you have enough ptv. Nothing to do with high compression.

+1. You may or may not have to fly cut, depends on what your PTV clearances are during mock up.

if its a auto car with stock heads you will most likely get away with not flycutting. with a manual trans you also might get away with not flycutting, but you better not miss shift it lol

what do you mean? like reving up to red line or shifting from 1st to 2nd but instead shifted to 3rd?

the motor is completely torn apart right now, and its going to be re tuned for free, so the cost to have install/tune isnt going to matter anyway. i grenaded 2 pistons about 5 months ago so its getting a whole new rotating assembly anyway. Reusing the stock heads (per dads checkbook demands) but basically said if i came up with the funds i could put a cam in it... and wanting jsut a stupid cam i want an MS4 to pair with a set of PRC Termi heads in a few months.

i called tsp about it, and with stock unmilled 241's and stock head gasket they said that there *should* be enuf room to not have to cut, i will obviously have everything checked anyway, but the car with def be coming to ryne sometime soon for a full h/c tune once the heads come.

hmm decisions

Well if the motor is already torn apart, its not that much work/money to fly cut the pistons before you get everything finished.
