Default Rattling sound in engine

Whats up fellas, i have a rattling sound coming from my 01 camaro LS1 engine that I need help identifying. When i start the car, it sounds like a whistle, but when i get to normal operating temp, it sounds like a grinding rattle. Any ideas?

Top end front, about were the pulleys are. Stays pretty steady whether at idle, cruising, or all-out hauling ***. Sounds metallic.

yea the bearings in the pullies are known for needing to be repacked. there is a thread that shows you how to do that somewhere. I would pull the belts off and see if the sound goes away.
