Since you have an 02 shorties are worthless. The stocker flow damn near the same. But...LT's ar not hard to install at all. My emissions came around a few months ago and I swapped the my LT's for the stockers pretty quick. IMO it was very much worth doing.
Especially with a cam...you got let it breathe.
You ever think about the Cheater cam from Thunder? Goes reallllly good with the stock manifolds

Yeah just need a jack and some stands...no big deal. The biggest thing is getting the car high enough for them to slip in. I had my jack pretty much maxed out and they went in with room to spare.
The first I installed them I ran into a lot of problems, nothing big at all, just a few bumps in the road basically. This was the first time I have ever laid a wrench on a car before as well. If you just go slow and take your time it will work out.
If not then by all means look into the cheatr cam

To be honest, that's not gonna work very well. That cam is designed with longtubes in mind. It's not gonna work very well with shorties. You won't make very good power, and it will be harder to tune. You need an exhaust biased cam if you want to use shorties. Personally, I'd either sell the cam, or buy some longtubes.

[QUOTE=crazy camaro]actually it's a great setup and makes 408wrhp in my car as we speak the cam is actually 216/224@.050 115lsa 8gtoklr's car will haul *** i'll promise that i went 12.2 on this setup before heads and lt's and under drive pulley.[/QUOT
Well, according to 8gtoklr he's got a 224/224, which is not a great setup for shorties. That's why I made that comment. It sounds like he didn't get the specs right, so I'd agree with you.
