Need a nitrous tune in So Cal
Well I think I decided on this kit...
http://www.nitrousoutlet.com/catalog...roduct_id=2799
Should give me just about everything I need I think. Any comments are welcome. Any suggestions on other kits are much appreciated.
Well I have a 98ws6 and my plan is to use a 100shot. Now I plan on installing this kit myself, but I will not be using it until I bring it to a dyno tuner. Does anyone have recommendations on dyno guys who know what they are doing with a ls1 and nitrous in So Cal?
I heard you can't really tune a dry shot setup, but if you can, or can very minimal I would like them make sure I got everything hooked up right and working like it should.

We can take a look at your N02 system if you would like as well as tuning the car.
Any reason you don't want to go with a Wet System?
If you are looking for ease of install Dave offers his new Plate System.

To be honest I wanna go with a dry because of the "dry vs. Wet" thread in the Nitrous forum. I have alot of confidence in a vehicles computer to make up the fuel difference when the nitrous hits. Where as the wet system seemed to have different problems that I didn't want to deal with.
But if you have an opinion I would like your info. Where is your shop located?

We are located in Lake Elsinore...
When properly tuned a Wet kit is much safer than a dry shot. You have the ability to go with a Standalone fuel system in the future and run Race Gas along with more timing in the tune.
Yes the MAF can accomodate for the N02 but once you max out the MAF you will have to "throw fuel" at it to keep the car happy.
With a Wet shot we dial in your NA AF and Timing and then use the Fuel jets to fine tune your Nitrous AF. I am and would rather run a Wet shot than Dry.

But if I only want a 100 shot, and never would run race gas, isn't a dry shot better? I don't plan on doing anything else to this car except the 100 shot. And when tuned properly, how is the wet shot safer?

Both Systems will be safe when properly setup, I feel that because the jet is supplying the appropriate amount of fuel it is one less thing to worry about.
It's entirely up to you, im just offering my opinion.
