Thumbs up Cms

Just wanted to pass the word along that Ryne over at CMS helped me out of a rut this past week... My car was leaking oil from a bolt connecting the flywheel to the crankshaft or something like that from a crappy clutch install by a transmission shop in san diego... also my water pump was shot from some aggressive driving which is another story

To make a long story short, Ryne worked on my car during the week and even on a SUNDAY in order to get it to me so I could drive it home from So-Cal to Phoenix that night... He also gave me a GREAT deal because of my poor financial standing as a full time college student... this car being my DD and ONLY mode of transportation i was basically screwed unless I could get it fixed then and there... For someone to come in during the weekend especially on a SUNDAY to meet the needs of someone with NO warning is great customer service. I hope you guys all consider CMS for your future LSx needs. Great customer service, he really knows his stuff with these cars considering he's owned just about all of em , and excellent pricing.

That's a stand up thing to do. Not even local or someone that may be a repeat shopper/customer so that's damn nice.

Seeing as what he knows about these cars, I think Ryne should have a deal where he checks out your car and makes suggestions on where to make improvements, or identify where probs are and/or what would the suggested repairs/improvements should be.

I'd go for something like that, especially if he could fix the surging and stalling problem I get from time to time.

This would especially come in handy if someone were buying a car and needed someone capable and knowledgeable to check it out beforehand.

Just my $0.02.

Thats what all automotive places do, They inspect your car and suggest what needs repairing or flushing. Thats how you get work in the automotive buissness.

Sure, next time I want someone to give me their opinion on a ticking/tapping noise in my motor I'll go to the local Ford specialist.

it's partly my fault though... I told him to drive it hard that night to try and diagnose the slugish feelings i've been having lately... He's a really good friend of mine of whom i'm his best man in his wedding in a couple months. I feel that I should know better than to let other people whom are not familiar with my car drive it, especially aggressively...

just sucks cuz i'm so broke... but he did offer to buy the car from me so that I could buy a dependable DD then buy it back from him once i'm out of school so that I don't have to completely get rid of it... which is another option...
